Behold Apple Fans! Tomorrow Steve Jobs takes the floor at San Francisco’s Moscone Center to deliver his Annual Keynote Address for the Macworld Conference and Expo. (I find it interesting that they have added the word "address," and it is scheduled so close to the State of the Union Address.) Jobs has made some great progress recently. Just three years ago Apple's growth was somewhat stagnate, but in 2006, he introduced the first Intel (INTC)-based Macs. Market shares doubled from 4% to 8%. Then in 2007 the Jobs introduced the trump of all phones, the IPhone, which has been named "Machine of the Year" by more than one publication.
The big question is, can Steve Jobs top it? What's new this year? And will it be as
big as the products from the last two years? Speculation is at its peak preceding the Expo. Fortune, Macworld, and Newsvine are some of the leading publications with their own theories. Apple banners surrounding the Macworld Expo promise consumers, "There's something in the Air." I know I will be watching from my monitor at work tomorrow.
