
Being the tech junkie that I am, I had to check out the Google Office Suite. Come on, aren’t you curious? I have always thought that Microsoft (MS) Word has too many options for some users. For many, MS Word is just feature overload. Many users only need the basics. The 1001 options are just an accident waiting to make my phone ring! Google Office isn’t loaded with features that will overload the casual user. Google’s CEO, Eric Schmidt, even admits that the Google Office Suite isn’t a threat to Microsoft Office. As a bonus, this is web based, so the only compatibility issue you need to think about is the browser.

Google Apps has full versions for different business needs as well: (Google Apps are not free, but they promise a low price and a 30 day trial.)
