HDI, the largest association for IT Help Desk and Service Management Professionals, is in the spotlight again. The parent company, Think Service Inc., has contracted with a number of other companies. Together they will begin providing services to the following European countries: Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Russia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia, Lithuania, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Turkey and Georgia. The companies will offer HDI Certification and training courses for IT Support Professionals.
More and more contracting companies are offering HDI certified technicians as a special bonus for companies seeking to outsource their IT support. It really is a critical time to think about what credentials your Help Desk has as a whole. The popularity of HDI certifications is catching on fast. I remember when I took the certification course. I thought, "Are they really going to teach me something I haven't seen after 10 years in this business?" Sure enough, they really did shead a new light on customer support and IT service. Here is the HDI website.
