KCS: Best Practices for Wikis and Knowledge Bases

Dan Wilson      Phil Gerbyshak

I'll be speaking at the 2007 HDI Annual Conference in May with my good friend Dan Wilson. We'll be talking about the "Poor Man's Help Desk" and one of the things I'll be sharing is my experiences creating a knowledge base (first) and a wiki (now) on a Help Desk, with little or no programming experience. My team has done an amazing job taking it to where it is today, and it's very repeatable by anyone looking to do a knowledge base on the cheap.

Stay tuned to Help Desk Notes for the best practices for wikis and knowledge bases.
