While this ad is very funny about how to put a webcam on a PC, I don't think you can call what we have to do with Macs for tech support. While with a Mac, it can just work, if it doesn't work, trying to make it compatible with the PCs on your Windows network is nearly impossible. Maybe with the new Mac PowerBooks that have the capability to run Windows and Macs things will get more compatible. We'll see. |
Interesting thought Bill. The competition is inevitable though, especially with Apple having things like their "Boot Camp" which will allow Windows to boot on a Mac without being an Uber-techie. If folks can figure out how to open source more for the Mac, we'll really see some innovation coming from the user community, leading to a better experience for everyone.

I thought I would drop by and check out your blog.
These ads are a riot...and I am a PC guy.
Hint...if you have the link open into a new page, it will keep readers at your page longer while they view the new opened page.
I used to live in Japan when PCs just started coming out...nothing, I mean nothing was compatible with anything else...it was a nightmare.
Perahps MS doesn't want to work with MAC so as it give Apple some legitimacy.
If they do become more compatible, APPLE will be able to grow even quicker,...and maybe that is what MS is trying to prevent...
Then again, I may not have a clue what I am talking about.
